Cards of the Wayfarer

This is a card-based TTRPG. The goal of the game is to tell a story about a group of travelers as they try to accomplish their goals. They might be journeying towards a new home or hidden treasure. Maybe they are looking for someone. Consequences can be deadly and folks can die pretty quickly out on the road. You’ll need charm, wit, dexterity, strength, endurance, a strong will, and of course, luck, to make it out here.

This game is inspired by games like Signs of the Sojourner, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, and Ryuutama. This game was originally set in an Americana-esque environment but can be easily converted to a spacey sci-fi game, a fantasy world, or a steampunk world! …I think… The game is based on a standard 52-card deck and I’d suggest using poker chips to track Red, Black, and Jokers.
